“FLOW: 낯섦의 미학”

“작품은 오방·새·붓질이라는 상징적 요소를 근간으로 ‘Unaccustomed’라는 개념을 통해 낯섦을 불편함이 아닌 잠재적 가능성의 인식으로 전환하고자 한다. 오방이 상징하는 전통적 질서와 균형, 새가 지시하는 자유와 전환, 그리고 붓질로 각인된 시공간의 흔적은 관람자로 하여금 낯섦 속에서 생성되는 새로운 사고의 흐름(flow)과 직면하게 한다.”

“Grounded in the symbolic elements of Obang, birds, and brushstrokes, the work seeks to reinterpret the concept of ‘Unaccustomed’ as an awareness of latent possibility rather than discomfort. The traditional order and balance embodied by Obang, the freedom and transformation signified by the birds, and the traces of time and movement inscribed through brushstrokes converge to confront the viewer with a flow of thought that emerges from the unfamiliar.”

Unaccustomed means something awkward or new.
